Dara Badon (pronounced "dare-uh bad-on"; she/her) is the Administrative Assistant for Theater, Dance & Media. An alum of Harvard College, Dara studied History & Literature, Educational Studies, and made sure to make art part of her learning, growing, and joy both in and outside of the classroom. From her academic focus centered around the history, artistry, scholarship, and identity of Black America; to her co-curricular activities, leadership, and student employment spanning the artforms of music, dance, creative writing, and theater management, Dara has consistently centered creativity and community in all of her pursuits.

Dara has the additional honors of working as the Assistant Director of the First-Year Arts Program (FAP) pre-orientation and as the Harvard Campus Liaison for the arts education not-for-profit CityStep. She is excited and delighted to further hone her passions in this professional role in TDM, and she can’t wait to get to know, cheer on, learn from, and support all current and future student artists and dance community members at Harvard.
