About the Panelists

A bicoastal bisexual with a love for humor and horror alike, Madi Fabber (she/her) writes plays that are “conceptually unhinged but emotionally compelling.” Her style is inspired by her experiences growing up all around the American Southeast. As a writer, she's interested in exploring gender, queerness, and things that go bump in the night. As a producer, she IS the thing that goes bump in the night. Answer your emails.

Madi's work has been an NPC Semifinalist, and has been featured in and developed through Ars Nova’s ANT Fest, The Tank’s LimeFest, The Workshop Theater’s Intensive Program, RE/VENUE Pop-Up Festivals, the Harvard Playwrights Festival, Playground-NY Best Of, and Literature Today. Madi is currently a member of the Dramatists Guild. An honors graduate of Harvard College's English and Theater, Dance, & Media departments, Madi's full-length thesis play Dressed In White and Covered in Blood received a grade of magna cum laude.

As a dramaturg and script reader, Madi has worked with The Bechdel Group, The Athena Project’s Read & Rant Series, Normal Ave., and a number of independent plays and musicals.

Outside of theater, Madi is an avid west coast swing dancer and competitor. Her day job is as a project coordinator at an executive search firm in NYC. madifabber.com | @madifabber
