ABOUT
Dryside tells the story of two interracial couples fighting to survive in a city devastated by global climate change. The poor and minority population of the city has been disproportionately affected by the changing climate because they, like many others around the world, cannot afford to move out of a coastal city that has flooded as a result of rising world temperatures. Forced to confront their own powerlessness to help the people around them, the two couples search for what it means to make a difference in this chaotic world. Nature itself, represented by a chorus of Stars, attempts to put them on the path towards salvation but the four still struggle to live out the destinies imagined for them.
