ABOUT CATHY ZUBER
Catherine Zuber is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama, and has been referred to as “one of theater’s most sought-after costume designers on both coasts”. Ms. Zuber has been nominated for 14, and received 7 Tony Awards. ABOUT TDM 150 THE ART OF SCENOGRAPHY
Taught by Lecturer on Theater, Dance & Media Julia Smeliansky, The Art of Scenography: 20th and 21st Century Directorial Concepts introduces students to the oeuvre of the most influential 20th and 21st century directors and set designers. Students examine the work of the great 20th and 21st century auteur directors and set designers through researching primary source materials in the Harvard Theatre Collection, speaking with guest artists, and viewing productions in and beyond Boston.
