Event poster for the TDM Dance Workshop: Contact Improvisation with Stephanie Turner, the lead artist of the Fall 2026 TDM Dance Production. Workshop will be held on Friday, April 10 from 10 AM to 12 PM in Harvard Dance Center.

In this workshop, improvised movement explorations tune the body to sense and adapt to changes in weight and balance while moving in contact with others to create a responsive and playful relationship to gravity and momentum. As a partner to functional training we will also practice a range of expressive skills leveraging the immediacy of improvisational exchanges to reveal our creative instincts for connection.

Stephanie Turner will also be leading the TDM Fall 2026 Dance Production Studio: Contact Improvisation—take this exciting opportunity to deepen your understanding of contact improv and learn more about next semester's dance production.
