TDM Dance Workshop: Contact Improvisation
Date and Time
Location
In this workshop, improvised movement explorations tune the body to sense and adapt to changes in weight and balance while moving in contact with others to create a responsive and playful relationship to gravity and momentum. As a partner to functional training we will also practice a range of expressive skills leveraging the immediacy of improvisational exchanges to reveal our creative instincts for connection.
Stephanie Turner will also be leading the TDM Fall 2026 Dance Production Studio: Contact Improvisation—take this exciting opportunity to deepen your understanding of contact improv and learn more about next semester's dance production.
