About Helen Shaw

Helen Shaw is a theatre critic for the New Yorker. She was New York Magazine's theatre critic from 2019-2022, and she has also written about theatre for Time Out New York, 4Columns.org., ArtForum, American Theatre, and the New York Times. She won the George Jean Nathan Award for Dramatic Criticism in 2017-18.
