Harvard Dance Center Master Class: Shamel Pitts

Shamel Pitts

New York-based choreographer and former member of Batsheva Dance Company Shamel Pitts will lead a master class on the research he has been developing through his own works and his training in Gaga, the movement language by Ohad Naharin. The research is an intimate physicality on groove  and the subtlety of small gestures which lead to a bigger picture of the moment.

For all levels of experience. Participants must be age 18 or over.

Participation is free and open to the Boston dance community, but due to limited class capacity, online registration is required. 

First-come, first-served, with priority given to Harvard University undergraduate students.

This class is offered as part of the Harvard Dance Center Spring 2018 Master Class Series, supported in part by the Office for the Arts (OFA) and the Provostial Fund for the Arts and Humanities at Harvard University.
