mid fall is an original contact improv production that embraces an aimless leveraging of time and other unraveling curiosities. Directed by renowned choreographer Steph Turner, mid fall invites audiences to celebrate what students have learned through their study of contact improv fundamentals and a shared exploration of the following questions: What does it mean to fall, fly, rebound, and dance together in a turbulent world? And what might contact improvisation reveal about the value of human touch, physical expression, and live performance in our digital age? Movement, lighting, sound, and music will be improvised at each performance.
