Liu

In 1948, on the eve of McCarthyism, a young woman wrestles between her hopes of becoming an artist and the fate that destiny has laid out for her in a single perilous night. Torn between her own passions and larger forces of the world, she puts everything familiar and known on the line. Inspired by Greek mythology, The Fate of Poetry is an original immersive play with music and dance that interrogates the determination, risk, and madness that comes with “following your dreams.”

Performance Dates and Times
Friday, March 27 at 7 PM
Saturday, March 28 at 2 PM
Saturday, March 28 at 7 PM

Farkas Hall, 12 Holyoke St

Dress Code

Black tie/evening dress, in any color but red, is encouraged.
