DESCRIPTION:<!--break--><p>	This seminar provides an introduction in to the basics concepts of safety. Topics covered include OSHA, NIOSH, EH&amp;S, industry safety standards and how they apply in the context of TDM. Specific TDM safety protocols will be discussed, along with an orientation training on general theatre equipment on stage and in the shops.  Closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing recommended.</p><p>	Concentrators are required to attend tech and production training modules as soon as possible after enrollment in the concentration and before their senior year. These modules equip students with basic knowledge of theater production and ensure their safety and that of others while working in and on productions. Training modules are open to potential concentrators, as well as those students wishing to gain more knowledge in theater production.</p>
