Concentrators are required to attend tech and production training modules as soon as possible after enrollment in the concentration and before their senior year. These modules equip students with basic knowledge of theater production and ensure their safety and that of others while working in and on productions. Training modules are open to potential concentrators, as well as those students wishing to gain more knowledge in theater production. Registration is required. Module: Lighting Design
This seminar will provide insight into the lighting roles and responsibilities of a production team, from Lighting Designer to Electrician. Lighting Production information/handouts will include lighting safety, installation, lighting plot paperwork, labor estimations, and instrument selection.
