Concentrators are required to attend tech and production training modules as soon as possible after enrollment in the concentration and before their senior year. These modules equip students with basic knowledge of theater production and ensure their safety and that of others while working in and on productions. Training modules are open to potential concentrators, as well as those students wishing to gain more knowledge in theater production. Registration is required. Module: Stage Management
Explore the techniques, tools, job responsibilities, and practice of stage management. Learn how to set up the room, document and report, helm the tech process, and run a show when things go wrong on stage. Includes hands-on examples of blocking documentation.
