The seminar will explore the connection between theater and conflict resolutions strategies using methods of acting through positive psychology (Tal Ben Shahar's techniques), art of negotiation (William Ury's techniques) and executive communication skills (Marjorie North's techniques). Using among others theatre forum methods by Augusto Boal, the students will focus on interpersonal communication through theatre games (role games in the situation). The mission of such seminar is to develop a social conscious of solution-focused, respectful, non-exploitative and empowering, and therefore, ethical relationships using drama techniques that lean on an introduction to the process of integrative decision-making model of ethical behavior.
