 Concentrators are required to attend tech and production training modules as soon as possible after enrollment in the concentration and before their senior year. These modules equip students with basic knowledge of theater production and ensure their safety and that of others while working in and on productions. Training modules are open to potential concentrators, as well as those students wishing to gain more knowledge in theater production. Registration is required. To register for any session, click on each module below.

 ***Module: Costume Design***  
Examine the roles and processes of a costume designer, discuss collaborations, design aesthetics, and translate your design for a costume shop. How does a designer use cut, color, fabric, trim, styling, pattern, research and accessories to tell the story of the play or musical? Includes analyzing film clips featuring strong design, and evaluate costume renderings to determine character and artistic process.
