 **About CELLS**

In CELLS, a man reconsiders his late grandmother's paintings and sets in motion a journey of discovery and revelation about himself and his family. As he delves into the vivid and mysterious artwork, never seen by the world, he uncovers the sharp and bittersweet fragments of his grandmother's past, revealing a woman far more vibrant and complex than he had ever imagined.

Inspired by the psychologically charged works of Louise Bourgeois, CELLS explores the ever-evolving nature of meaning. Through the lens of specific objects spanning generations, we follow a family's navigation of what it truly means to be an artist, to love, and to lead a life filled with purpose, in a world marred by capitalism. Using the life of objects over time, this multi-generational tale challenges our conventional notions of success and the pursuit of happiness, encouraging us to reevaluate our own definitions in the process.
