It’s time to decolonize your play reading list! Every month, TDM’s BIPOC Play Discussion Group meets to discuss plays by Black, Indigenous, and/or People of Color playwrights, whose works are all too often left off of the syllabi at institutions of higher education. The April play will be *Model Minority* by Chloé Hung.

**About *Model Minority*:**

A comedy in which four sheltered Chinese-American teens want to perform an original rap song for their church’s talent show but none of them know how to DJ. When an African-American student answers their flyer, they all must confront their prejudices. A play about the appropriation of African-American culture by Asian-Americans.

Copies of the script are available on the New Play Exchange website. [HOLLIS provides free access to the New Play Exchange script database with your HarvardKey.](http://id.lib.harvard.edu/alma/99154312716403941/catalog)

Register today and join us on Friday, April 9 at 3pm ET! Open to all Harvard students and faculty.

Zoom Link will be sent out by 12pm ET on April 9th.

*Persons with disabilities are encouraged to participate. If you anticipate needing any type of accommodation, please contact Theater, Dance & Media at tdm\[at\]fas.harvard.edu.*
