*Bliss. This Autumn. Lecturance* is a performance of sounds—a collaboration among Josefina Báez, Carlos Snaider and Tony Almont that strings together poetry, sounds and three songs from 20th century Bolero, Bachata and Merengue popular music traditions. *Lecturance* is based on the Josefina Báez book *Comrade, Bliss ain’t playing* and is the world premiere of music written for *Bliss*. Josefina Báez (La Romana, Dominican Republic/USA) is a performer, writer, theatre director, educator, and founder of Ay Ombe Theatre. Carlos Snaider is a recent graduate of Harvard University, where he studied with Vijay Iyer, Yosvany Terry and Lorgia García Peña. Tony Almont is a guitarist, composer, actor, and lead of the oldest rock band in the Dominican Republic (Toque Profundo).

Presented by the Harvard University Committee on the Arts in conjunction with the installation of *Autumn (…Nothing Personal)*, by the artist Teresita Fernández, in Tercentenary Theatre.
