 Those interested in studying Theater, Dance &amp; Media must be admitted to Harvard College first. Enrolled undergraduates declare their concentration (major) in the fall of their sophomore year (there are no requirements to declare). ###    What do you think differentiates Harvard's TDM program from other programs at other institutions?  expand\_more  

 Harvard emphasizes and offers a liberal arts-based curriculum, rather than a conservatory-style program. Students can take a variety of [courses](https://courses.my.harvard.edu) in a range of fields in addition to TDM courses. TDM provides opportunities to learn from faculty and visiting lecturers, as well as work with professionals through the [TDM Productions](/productions). TDM also has a close partnership with the [American Repertory Theater](https://americanrepertorytheater.org), with A.R.T. faculty teaching a number of TDM courses and advising students.

 At this time, Theater, Dance &amp; Media does not offer any programs beyond undergraduate studies.

 The A.R.T. Institute at Harvard University is graduate theater training at the award-winning American Repertory Theater (currently on hiatus). [Please visit here](https://americanrepertorytheater.org/art-institute) for more information about the A.R.T. Institute.
